Why Regular Giving Matters
Regular gifts let us plan, employ local people with confidence and keep equipment running. As a Founding Guardian, you will be recognised permanently as one of our first supporters (unless you prefer to remain anonymous), invited to visit the reserve, and kept informed with quarterly updates from the field.

Section 18A Tax Receipts
iSihlangu is an approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930088756) with Section 18A status. Qualifying donations from South African taxpayers are tax-deductible, and we issue a Section 18A receipt for every qualifying donation. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances, so we recommend confirming the details with your own tax adviser.
Donate Vehicles, Equipment or Land
Some of the most valuable gifts are not cash. A 4×4, a trailer, a tractor, chainsaws, trail cameras, protective gear, laptops or pro bono skills can make an enormous difference to our work. Every donated asset is recorded in our asset register and reported on to you, and qualifying donations in kind may be eligible for a Section 18A receipt.
Land is the most lasting gift a conservationist can give. Whether you are considering donating a property, leaving it to us in your will, or keeping ownership while committing it to conservation, we will work patiently with you and your advisers. Leave a Legacy of Conservation
A gift in your will is one of the most lasting ways to protect KwaZulu-Natal’s wild places. By naming iSihlangu Conservation Alliance NPC as a beneficiary in your will, life policy or retirement annuity, you help secure the future of Cumberland’s forests, river and wildlife for generations to come. Bequests to an approved Public Benefit Organisation may also reduce estate duty.
We recommend asking your attorney or financial adviser to include your bequest. They may find this wording helpful:
